Justin Sun Sues Jing Tian for $4.2M Dowry Payment, Claims AI Chatbot Advice Led to Relationship End
Chinese actress Jing Tian has been spotted visiting a beauty spa amidst a high-profile $4.2 million dowry lawsuit filed against her by crypto billionaire Justin Sun.
The controversy erupted in late August when Sun, founder of the TRON blockchain network and estimated net worth of $8.5 billion, sued Jing and her parents to recover 30 million yuan (approximately $4.2 million), reportedly a betrothal or dowry payment.
Sun claimed that he had discussed marriage and surrogacy with Jing, but ended the relationship after consulting an AI chatbot, which advised him against paying Jing an additional $50 million she allegedly demanded shortly before an egg-retrieval procedure.
Jing has denied any wrongdoing, stating on Weibo that she 'has not in the past, do not now, and will not in the future ever sell my love for money, let alone my soul.'
