Justin Sun Sues World Liberty Financial Over Frozen Tokens and Alleged Trump Connection
Crypto billionaire Justin Sun has accused World Liberty Financial and its connection to President Donald Trump of threats, extortion, and an 'illegal scheme' to seize his tokens. The controversy revolves around the freezing of Sun's WLFI tokens beyond what was agreed upon, as well as allegations that the firm threatened to burn them.
Sun claims he invested heavily in World Liberty Financial, promoting it as a promising venture before losing control of a significant portion of his WLFI tokens due to an improper transaction experience with the firm. He argues that the freeze on his tokens was more extensive than anticipated and not fully lifted for an extended period.
Furthermore, Sun alleges that three top executives of World Liberty Financial offered him an investment opportunity tied to Trump's potential second term in office, which would have relieved legal pressure on Sun.
