Tron founder Justin Sun has unlocked 5,000 stETH for the first time in over a year. The transaction occurred at an address associated with Sun and was valued at approximately $12.3 million. This move marks the first time Sun has unlocked this amount of stETH since July 18, 2025.

Lido's liquid staking protocol allowed users to stake their Ethereum assets in exchange for stETH. Users can convert stETH to Ethereum under certain conditions, making large redemptions significant events.

Sun reportedly holds around 243,000 stETH on-chain, valued at approximately $600 million. Although the recent transaction decreased his portfolio slightly, Sun remains a major asset holder in the Ethereum ecosystem.
