The Chinese government has been cracking down on capital flight, banning unauthorized offshore issuance of yuan-pegged stablecoins.
Sun's net worth stems from Tron, a blockchain system that has become a global payments network moving more than PayPal Holdings Inc. Nearly 40% of Tether's USDT is transacted on Tron, which was adopted by Asian crime syndicates according to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime.
