K33 Sees Revenue Decline and Widening Net Loss in Q2 FY26
K33's second quarter of fiscal year 2026 saw significant declines in revenue and net income. The company reported a Q2 FY26 revenue of SEK 192.94 million, down by 51.67% compared to the same period last year. This decline was largely attributed to valuation effects related to Bitcoin, which impacted K33's financials by about SEK 14 million.
As a result, K33's net loss widened to SEK 19.64 million from SEK 3.49 million in Q2 FY25. Additionally, the company's EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) loss also increased to SEK 6.44 million from SEK 1.41 million.
Despite these challenges, K33 did show some signs of growth during the period. The company reported a 10% increase in first-half revenue to SEK 932.76 million and received authorization under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulatory framework on June 16. Furthermore, K33 has passported into several European countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Germany.
