Kaiko Secures $53M for Crypto Data Expansion
Kaiko, a French startup that provides market intelligence about digital assets, has secured $53 million in funding to grow its crypto data platform.
The investment was led by S&P Global and included other institutional backers such as Nasdaq Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, BNP Paribas, and several others. This new round of funding extends Kaiko's Series B round, which originally closed in 2022 with a total of $57 million.
Kaiko collects market data from blockchain logs, crypto exchanges, and lending protocols to provide its customers with insights into the digital assets market. The company offers several services, including Kaiko Stream, which provides near-real-time market data through gRPC technology, and historical market datasets that can be accessed as spreadsheets or synced to cloud-based data warehouses.
