Kalshi Brings Institutional-Grade Data Feeds to Prediction Markets
Kalshi, a prediction market platform, has partnered with DoubleZero Edge to provide institutional-grade data feeds. This move positions Kalshi as one of the first venues on the DoubleZero Edge platform, following Solana.
The partnership marks the debut of Kalshi's market information being distributed across a multicast network. DoubleZero Edge uses dedicated fiber connections and a multicast approach to stream live exchange and blockchain information directly to trading firms.
Kalshi is initially offering its most liquid categories: sports event contracts and crypto perpetual futures, to subscribers. The feed includes both Level 1 data - top-of-book prices along with executed trades - and Level 2 data that reveals the full depth of the order book at every price level.
Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, noted that traditional finance correctly identified data access as a core element of market structure. Large firms have long constructed private high-speed networks for their exclusive use. Kalshi's Head of Institutional, Andy Ross, emphasized that participants on the platform increasingly include sophisticated firms active in conventional markets.
