Kalshi Settles Nevada Dispute as Robinhood Eyes Crypto.com Deal

Share

Kalshi, a prediction market platform, has reached an agreement with the Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) to settle a preliminary injunction that prohibited their sports prediction market in the state.

The platform is expected to complete the implementation process by August. According to the NGCB's release, they have reached an agreement with Kalshi to stop the platform's continued unlawful operation in the state.

In related news, Robinhood and Crypto.com are reportedly discussing a deal that could put the brokerage firm in more direct competition with Kalshi.

Kalshi has also threatened Netflix with legal action over a trailer for its upcoming documentary 'The Prediction Games', claiming it contains defamatory and fabricated content. The platform claims the footage shows traders partying at a mansion in Las Vegas while watching the recent World Cup final and touting their winnings on prediction sites, including Kalshi.
