Kamino Brings Dollar Liquidity to Zcash Holders via New Solana Lending Market

Kamino has launched a new lending market on Solana that allows Zcash (ZEC) holders to borrow USDC against their positions. This move gives ZEC holders access to dollar liquidity without requiring them to sell their underlying position, allowing for higher leverage.

The integration is curated by Allez Labs and operates as an isolated market, containing liquidation and credit exposure within the dedicated ZEC market. The new ZEC lending market allows users to supply ZEC as collateral, borrow USDC, and use Kamino Multiply for leveraged ZEC exposure of up to 1.7x.

ZEC's recent rally has pushed its price above $1,200, with a market capitalization around $19.1 billion and more than $1 billion in 24-hour volume. This move has helped push the privacy-focused cryptocurrency sector 213% above its combined market value when Bitcoin reached its October 6, 2025 peak.
