Karachi Police Uncover Crypto Trading Records in Murder Investigation
Pakistani police have obtained records of cryptocurrency trading by a young businessman who was found dead in Karachi. The records, which span four years, show that Mir Raza Ali had been actively trading cryptocurrencies on the Binance platform.
Ali's friend, Abdul Hasem, previously testified to a judicial commission that both men had traded cryptocurrencies together, but with different results. While Ali was successful, Hasem stopped due to losses.
The investigation into Ali's death has taken several twists and turns, including a change in the theory of his cause of death from suicide to murder.
A repeat autopsy confirmed that Ali died from a gunshot wound, contradicting the initial theory. The police have since obtained records of Ali's cryptocurrency trading as part of their ongoing investigation.
