Karamarko's ADA Push: Experienced Leaders, Institutional Funding Key to $5 Milestone

Crypto entrepreneur Jure Karamarko has proposed two significant changes to help ADA surpass $5. He urged Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson to register as a Delegate Representative (DRep) and for a major company, venture capital firm, or influential investor to purchase 1 billion ADA at current market prices.

Karamarko believes experienced business leaders would provide stronger leadership and attract fresh capital to the ecosystem. He criticized existing DReps, stating that individuals without practical experience in growing successful businesses should not wield significant influence over Cardano's future.

The proposal has generated mixed reactions within the Cardano community. Some supporters see increased participation from established companies as a way to strengthen governance and attract more institutional funding. However, critics argue that greater VC involvement could introduce conflicts of interest.
