Crypto market analysts are abuzz about Cardano's (ADA) potential to break through the $5 barrier, but reaching this milestone will require more than just a surge in price. According to Jure Karamarko, founder of SongMarketCap, two key changes could propel ADA past $5: registering as a Delegate Representative (DRep) and attracting significant institutional investment.

Karamarko believes that experienced business leaders should take on more prominent roles within Cardano's governance framework. He suggests that these executives would bring stronger leadership and attract fresh capital to the ecosystem, driving growth and pushing ADA beyond $5.

Hoskinson has expressed interest in becoming a DRep through the creation of a political party within the Cardano ecosystem. Karamarko's proposal aligns with Cardano's governance evolution, which allows ADA holders to influence ecosystem decisions by delegating their voting power to DReps.
