Kaspa Smart Contracts Get Boost from New Development Tool
The KAS token has seen its price rise after a period of stagnation. This increase in value is partly due to rising transaction activity on the Kaspa network, which has been steadily growing since late August. The number of transactions on the platform has increased significantly over this time.
A major contributor to this growth is the launch of Silverscript v1, a high-level smart-contract language designed for complex stateful applications on the Kaspa ledger. This development aims to reduce the technical burden associated with raw opcodes and allow developers to create sophisticated token mechanisms and layered abstractions on the network.
The release of Silverscript v1 marks the end of an eight-month development cycle, during which time it was developed in conjunction with the Toccata framework. The new tool is expected to make it easier for developers to build complex applications on the Kaspa platform.
However, the KAS price still needs to hold its current level above the 200-day EMA band if the recent breakout is to be seen as credible. If the price falls below this threshold, it could lead to a sharp decline in value, potentially sending the token towards $0.025 or even $0.010.
