Kaspa Token Surges on KaChat 4.0 Release
Kaspa's token price jumped more than 5% as the release of KaChat 4.0, dubbed The Everywhere Update, rolled out in late August 2026.
The new version adds desktop and web support to the decentralized messaging app, which enables end-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer messaging, group chats, voice notes, and KAS payments on Kaspa's high-throughput blockDAG.
Additional features include Tangem wallet integration, KaPosts for on-chain social interactions, improved tools for running personal nodes and indexers, better notifications, child-mode privacy controls, and refined address management.
The rollout has implications for KAS holders, as each message or social interaction incurs a small transaction fee in KAS, demonstrating growing real-world utility beyond store-of-value or mining narratives.
