KEEL Stock Pulls Back After PowerSecure Deal
Keel Infrastructure (KEEL) is on track to break its four-day winning streak after announcing an agreement with PowerSecure. The deal, which involves a custom backup power solution for Keel's Moses Lake data center campus, failed to prevent a pullback in KEEL shares.
The system will support peak shaving, reduced grid reliance, and backup resilience using PowerSecure's scalable PowerBlocks technology. This is part of Keel's transition from Bitcoin mining to AI and high-performance computing (HPC) data centers.
Keel has a 2.2-gigawatt power pipeline with grid links already set up in Pennsylvania, Washington, and Québec, Canada. The company fully exited its Bitcoin mining business in August, citing solid second-quarter earnings, and is now focused on AI and HPC.
