Kiyosaki's $1.2 Billion Debt Exposure Revealed Amid Bullish Bitcoin Predictions
Robert Kiyosaki, author of 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' and a prominent advocate for Bitcoin, is facing significant debt obligations linked to his real-estate investments. According to reports, the total debt figure stands at $1.2 billion, although it's essential to note that this amount does not represent personal liability but rather a collective obligation tied to a portfolio of approximately 1,500 apartment units.
Kiyosaki's ex-wife and business partner, Kim Kiyosaki, clarified in an interview with 'Vanity Fair' that the author's share of the liabilities is estimated to range between $30 million and $60 million. This means Kiyosaki can potentially borrow against the equity without having to sell the underlying assets.
Kiyosaki has been known for his bullish stance on Bitcoin, predicting ambitious price targets in the past. In June 2024, he forecasted a price of $350,000 by August 25, and later set a broader target range of between $175,000 and $350,000 for 2025, with an eventual goal of surpassing $1 million.
