Klippsten Fires Back at Novogratz: Bitcoin's Trustlessness is Its Strength

Cory Klippsten, CEO of Swan Bitcoin, has responded to comments from Galaxy Digital's CEO Mike Novogratz about the value of Bitcoin. According to Klippsten, Bitcoin's value and usefulness do not come from trust or shared belief among its users.

Klippsten stated that Bitcoin doesn't work because of trust, but rather because anyone can verify its properties independently. He emphasized that users need not trust governments, banks, exchanges, developers, or advocates, as they can check and confirm every important property about the network for themselves.

This perspective is in direct opposition to Novogratz's claim that Bitcoin's value is built on faith in its network.
