Korbit Unveils AI-Powered Trading Tool for Natural Language Commands
Korbit, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, has introduced an AI agent trading tool that allows users to execute exchange functions using natural language commands. The tool, called 'Korbit CLI (Command Line Interface),' integrates with AI agents such as ChatGPT Codex and Claude Code.
Users can instruct the AI assistants to perform tasks like checking their Ethereum balance or buying 100 XRP at market price using everyday language commands. The Korbit CLI program is installable on a user's PC and comes configured with an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server and AI agent skills essential for AI integration.
The company also announced the launch of 'Korbit TUI (Text-based User Interface),' a text-based interface that allows users to view real-time prices, order books, and candlestick charts directly on the terminal screen. This feature is aimed at developers who prefer terminal environments.
Korbit's Chief Technology Officer, Lee Jung-woo, emphasized the importance of execution reliability, traceability, and a robust pre-verification system in environments where AI handles real assets. He added that Korbit plans to continuously expand its infrastructure for AI agents to directly connect and trade virtual assets.
