Kraken Begins Trading xU3O8, a Digital Asset Representing Physical Uranium

Kraken has announced that xU3O8 is now available for trading as of July 30, 2026. This marks an important milestone in the growth and accessibility of digital assets.

xU3O8 represents a beneficial ownership interest in physical uranium stored in a regulated storage facility operated by Cameco, one of the world's largest uranium conversion and storage providers. Archax acts as trustee for investors, giving holders exposure to physical uranium while combining blockchain-based ownership records with operational infrastructure.

To add xU3O8 to your Kraken account, navigate to Funding, select the asset, and hit 'Deposit'. Make sure to deposit tokens into networks supported by Kraken, as deposits made using other networks will be lost.
