Kraken Delists Rain with Potential for Minimal Proceeds
Kraken will delist Rain (RAIN) on September 15, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. Anyone holding RAIN in a Kraken account has until then to withdraw their balance. Trading for RAIN was halted on June 17, 2026.
Rain is not included in the monthly cycles of tokens facing forced liquidation on Kraken, and its delisting is handled separately. According to an analysis by CryptoTicker, Rain's daily turnover stands at $30.9 million against a market capitalization of $9.41 billion, which is 0.33 percent.
The exchange will sell the remaining balances between September 15 and 25. The proceeds may be minimal or fail to materialize altogether due to insufficient liquidity in the market. Kraken's notice explicitly mentions this possibility and justifies a three-month withdrawal period instead of selling immediately.
