Kraken Expands Prop Trading Program with S&P 500 Perpetual Contract
Kraken Prop has expanded its funded trading program to include the S&P 500 as a perpetual contract, allowing traders to take positions on the index using the exchange's own money. The addition of the S&P 500 follows the inclusion of the Nasdaq 100 in the program earlier this year.
The Kraken Prop program operates on a funded trading model that allows traders who pass an evaluation process to access wallet sizes ranging from $5,000 to $200,000 in firm capital. Traders keep between 80% and 90% of their profits, with the exchange retaining 10-20%. The program also features no time limits for evaluations and subject traders to drawdown rules.
Kraken plans to add commodities to its platform after expanding equity index coverage. Commodities will be available in addition to crypto and equities, making Kraken a one-stop shop for traders.
