The HTX-linked address-poisoning incident on August 18th has left many users concerned about their fund security and rights. Kraken, a popular cryptocurrency exchange, has taken action by freezing up to $4.2 million in user funds, which some may have independently tried to protect or recover.

However, the uncertainty surrounding HTX's connection to the incident remains. On August 18th, HTX denied that its official platforms or testing programs initiated the unexplained deposits. Despite this denial, small USDT transfers from addresses linked to Kraken accounts were labeled 'HTX', leading to concerns about wallet ownership.

A HUOBI HTX representative stated that their exchange examined internal records and found no evidence backing up these allegations. This has led to the creation of a Kraken user group, aimed at uniting affected users, gathering data on frozen funds, and pressuring Kraken to address the issue.
