Kraken Introduces Fixed Rate Rewards for Eligible US Investors

Kraken has introduced Fixed Rate Rewards, a new feature for eligible US accredited investors that offers fixed Annual Percentage Yields (APYs) of up to 7% on cash and stablecoin balances.

The program allows clients to choose from four lockup terms: three, six, twelve, or eighteen months. By locking in their rate, clients can earn a steady stream of predictable cash rewards with no drift or adjustments.

According to John Zettler, Director of Product at Kraken Earn & Trade, 'Many Kraken clients holding cash or stablecoins want the same thing: a clear, fixed-rate yield on that cash.' Fixed Rate Rewards provides this certainty by allowing clients to agree on a rate and earn it for the full term.

The feature is available on eligible fiat (USD, EUR) and stablecoin (USDT, USDC, and USDG) balances in both Kraken's Consumer and Pro apps, on web or mobile.
