Kraken IPO Delayed Again as Payward Seeks Safe Harbor

Share

Payward, the parent company of Kraken, has reportedly pushed back its initial public offering (IPO) timeline to at least the second quarter of 2027. This revised plan comes after a series of delays, citing weak market conditions that disrupted Payward's previous listing schedule.

In November 2025, Payward filed a confidential draft Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), but the company paused its multibillion-dollar offering in March due to falling crypto prices and lower trading activity.

According to Reuters, which could not independently confirm the updated schedule, any offering remains subject to SEC review, market conditions, and Payward's final decision.
