Kraken Issues Deadline for Delisted Token Withdrawals
Crypto holders have been issued an August 27 deadline by Kraken to withdraw their balances in 21 delisted tokens. Trading and depositing for these assets ceased on May 29, but now owners must act quickly to avoid automatic liquidation between September 1 and 5.
The affected tokens include AURA, BIT, BOND, BSX, FARM, GARI, K, KET, KINTO, LOBO, MOON, MV, NYM, RAIIN, RHEA, SAROS, SDN, SPC, SPICE, TEA, and TEER. Kraken has warned that the liquidation process may result in returns significantly lower than current market prices due to low liquidity.
The exchange's notice does not impose any geographical restrictions, so clients from various jurisdictions must be aware of regional rules that could impact their holdings. For those who can withdraw their assets, the August 27 deadline represents their final opportunity to manage them actively.
