Kraken to Liquidate Remaining Humanity and Beldex Balances
Two cryptocurrency projects, Humanity and Beldex, have been affected by an attack on their bridge infrastructure in June 2026. As a result, both projects rolled out new token contracts, which were automatically credited to customer accounts at Kraken exchange.
The duplicate positions in customers' portfolios are now set to expire on September 25th, 2026 at 14:00 UTC. After this date, the remaining balances will be liquidated by Kraken between September 28th and October 2nd, 2026, without any involvement from the account holders.
The exchange warns that the proceeds of these sales may fall below recent prices and in some cases may be minimal or zero. Four tickers are affected: $H and $HUMANITY for Humanity, and $BDX and $BELDEX for Beldex.
In both cases, trading and deposits were permanently disabled after the attack, leaving only withdrawal as an option. The reason for this is that customers who bought the tokens after the snapshot date are not eligible to receive the new token contract and therefore do not have a valid claim against their respective projects.
