Kraken has made significant upgrades to its trading platform's technical resilience during peak Bitcoin market activity. The company recalled that when Bitcoin surpassed $120,000 in July 2025, roughly 11% of client requests reportedly failed, prompting an internal push to increase performance and reliability.

According to a recent LinkedIn post from Kraken, the company now sustains more than 230,000 successful requests per second in production at over 10 times its previous peak load. The error rate is cited at 0.111%, indicating an upgraded infrastructure that may better support high-volume trading and reduce downtime risk.

The post also highlights Kraken's ongoing investment in engineering and scalability, which can be strategically important in the competitive crypto exchange landscape. Platform reliability and execution speed are factors that can influence client retention, trading volumes, and ultimately fee-based revenue.
