Kraken Unleashes 7,000+ U.S. Stocks onto Its Platform
Kraken has extended its crypto offering to include thousands of U.S.-listed stocks, bringing together conventional shares and blockchain-based xStocks within a single regulated platform. Eligible customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) can now access over 7,000 U.S. stocks via Kraken Pro on desktop and mobile markets, as well as its mobile app.
The new service is authorized under MiFID II regulations by Payward Europe Digital Solutions (CY) Limited, a branch of Kraken's European investment services division. Customers who meet the eligibility requirements can trade all new U.S. stocks without fees under certain conditions.
Kraken has also emphasized its commitment to multi-asset trading, allowing users to trade stocks or xStocks and 600+ cryptocurrencies through a single account. The exchange aims to expand its fully integrated offering of common stocks into additional markets in the coming months.
