Kraken Unveils Yield-Earning Vaults for Tokenized Nvidia Shares and ETFs
Cryptocurrency platform Kraken has launched xStocks vault products allowing users to generate returns on tokenized Nvidia (NVDA) shares and two prominent US exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The vault technology enables users to earn variable yields through asset lending via decentralized finance platforms, particularly Kamino operating on the Solana blockchain.
Projecting net annual percentage yields of 2% for SPYx and QQQx tokens, with NVDAx offering 1.8% during the introductory phase, Kraken's xStocks vault products are accessible throughout the European Economic Area and selected additional territories.
However, multiple risk factors exist including potential liquidation events, vulnerabilities in smart contracts, and complications with cross-blockchain transfers.
