Kraken Unveils Zero-Commission US Stock Trading for European Users

Kraken has rolled out zero-commission trading for over 7,000 U.S. equities to users in the European Economic Area. The service is available via Kraken Pro and the main Kraken application, with certain fees and regional limitations still applying.

The platform now provides access to both conventional shares and xStocks, blockchain-based representations of U.S. securities fully backed by real underlying equities.

This marks the first instance of a crypto-focused exchange delivering standard equities and their tokenized counterparts simultaneously within one regulated environment, according to Kraken.
