Kraken Users Face Forced Liquidation Deadline for 21 Delisted Tokens
Kraken users are facing a looming deadline of August 27 at 14:00 UTC to withdraw their holdings from 21 delisted tokens, or risk forced liquidation by the exchange. According to Kraken's delisting cycle, any balances remaining after this cutoff will be automatically liquidated between September 1 and September 5, with no guarantee of minimal or even zero proceeds.
The affected assets include AURA, BIT, BOND, BSX, FARM, GARI, K, KET, KINTO, LOBO, MOON, MV, NYM, RAIIN, RHEA, SAROS, SDN, SPC, SPICE, TEA, and TEER. Kraken has warned that several of these assets trade in inactive markets, increasing the likelihood of poor execution prices.
TEER carries additional risks due to its project's shutdown, with on-chain transactions no longer functioning and trading and funding suspended.
