Kraken Withdrawals Bolster Bitcoin Scarcity
Bitcoin's scarcity has improved significantly after substantial withdrawals from Kraken, totaling nearly $198 million. The two major transactions involved 1,265 Bitcoin valued at approximately $81.3 million and another of 1,815 Bitcoin worth around $116.6 million.
The transfers were interpreted as an indication of long-term holding intentions rather than immediate distribution into the market. This behavior is commonly associated with large holders reducing the supply of Bitcoin available on exchanges.
The Stock-to-Flow Ratio surged to 46.5K, reflecting a substantial increase of 350.01% within just 24 hours. This notable rise indicates that Bitcoin's scarcity had been reestablished following a period of weakening, aligning with recent exchange withdrawals.
