Kraken's Deadline Looms for Delisted Token Withdrawals
Kraken has set an August 27 deadline for its clients to withdraw their remaining balances of 21 delisted tokens. After this cutoff, the exchange will disable withdrawals and automatically liquidate any remaining balances between September 1 and 5, based on prevailing market conditions.
The affected assets include AURA, BIT, BOND, BSX, FARM, GARI, K, KET, KINTO, LOBO, MOON, MV, NYM, RAIIN, RHEA, SAROS, SDN, SPC, SPICE, TEA, and TEER. Kraken has warned that several of these tokens have limited or inactive markets, which could result in minimal or no proceeds from the liquidation.
The exchange's delisting process consists of three stages: May 29, when trading and deposits stopped for some assets; August 27, when the general withdrawal window closes; and September 1-5, when remaining balances are automatically liquidated. Kraken emphasizes that it does not promise a specific execution time or price during this period.
