Kraken's IPO Delayed Until Q2 2027 Amid Market Volatility
Kraken's parent company Payward has postponed its initial public offering (IPO) until at least the second quarter of 2027, due to market conditions that have disrupted its previous listing schedule.
The company had initially prepared for a public debut after cryptocurrency companies returned to U.S. equity markets in 2025, but falling digital asset prices and weaker trading activity made it harder to maintain this schedule.
Prior to filing with the SEC, Payward confidentially submitted a draft S-1 registration statement in November 2025 and raised $800 million at a valuation of $20 billion.
