KSNet Taps Solana for Blockchain Payments Infrastructure
Korean payment and settlement company KSNet has partnered with Solana Foundation to launch blockchain-based payment infrastructure for merchants and AI agents. The partnership was announced on July 30, 2026, and will see KSNet connect its existing point-of-sale network to the Solana Pay standard.
The first phase of the pilot project focuses on linking Solana Pay to KSNet's merchant systems, with domestic anti-money laundering checks in place to prevent irregular fund flows. The second phase tests x402, a protocol that enables software agents to pay automatically without card details or logins.
KSNet's CEO Park Han-han emphasized the company's goal of building safer payment infrastructure for users through its settlement experience.
