KuCoin has achieved ISO/IEC 42001 certification for its AI Management System (AIMS), a significant milestone in the company's commitment to responsible governance and platform security.
The international standard, ISO/IEC 42001:2023, outlines requirements for organizations to establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve their AI management systems. KuCoin's AIMS is designed to support the global cryptocurrency exchange and financial services platform.
This certification marks another achievement in KuCoin's efforts to strengthen its trust framework, which includes security, operational reliability, business continuity, and AI management. The company has previously obtained certifications for ISO 22301:2019 (business continuity) and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 (information security). Additionally, KuCoin completed a year-long independent audit for SOC 2 Type II in April 2025.
