KuCoin's FlutonIO Aims to Make DeFi Transactions Private
Public blockchains are transparent and excellent at verification, but this transparency can also be a security risk. A wallet's balance, assets, trades, and trading timing can all become public information, which can be used by malicious actors to their advantage.
@FlutonIO is working on a solution that uses Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) to keep the execution of transactions verifiable without revealing the underlying intent. This approach has several implications for DeFi, including private swaps, protected strategies, and confidential cross-chain activity.
The goal is to create a system where users can use decentralized infrastructure without sacrificing their financial privacy. If blockchain is going to handle complex transactions beyond simple token transfers, confidentiality needs to be built into the infrastructure itself.
