Kushner-Dahlan Ceasefire Deal Set to Take Effect in Gaza
Jared Kushner and Mohammed Dahlan are at the center of a significant diplomatic channel in the Middle East. According to Dahlan, Kushner personally informed him that an agreement to halt Israeli attacks on Gaza will take effect Sunday morning.
The agreement, facilitated through what's been described as a Washington-controlled 'Board of Peace,' involves phased ceasefires, hostage releases, and large-scale reconstruction planning with participation from the US, Qatar, and Egypt. This framework has been in the works since October 2025.
Dahlan, the exiled former Palestinian Authority security chief based in the UAE, was pushed out of Palestinian politics in 2011 amid internal rivalries within Fatah. Kushner maintained his own network of Gulf relationships during his time as a senior adviser to the Trump administration.
