Kyrgyzstan Central Bank Partners with CertiK for Enhanced Digital Asset Oversight

The National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic (NBKR) has partnered with CertiK to advance cooperation on Digital Som security and digital asset oversight.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed on September 15th, establishes a long-term strategic partnership that brings CertiK into a central-bank environment shaped by stringent security, compliance, and operational requirements.

NBKR Member of the Board Sanzhar Abdygaziev emphasized the value in exchanging experience and expertise in blockchain and digital asset security, cybersecurity, AML/CFT, and transaction analysis.

CertiK Co-Founder and CEO Ronghui Gu said that 'digital asset infrastructure requires security and risk management to be considered from the earliest stages of design through ongoing operation.'
