La Mint Unveils Digital Collectibles Marketplace for Creators
La Mint has introduced a digital collectibles marketplace where creators can turn their content into limited-edition assets that fans can collect, own, and trade. The platform, which uses the 1Sat Ordinals tokenization protocol on the BSV blockchain, allows creators to release content as a limited edition, such as 10 editions of a photo.
Each edition is recorded on the blockchain and held in the buyer's HandCash inventory, but users don't need to understand wallets or addresses. Creators earn 80% from every original sale, while fans can list their collectibles for resale and keep 90% of the sale price.
'Creator content already has value,' said La Mint's founder Daniel Street. 'La Mint is building a marketplace where that value can be collected and traded by fans, while giving creators the opportunity to earn from both primary and secondary sales.'
