$LAPTOP Aims to Compensate $TRUMP Crypto Losers with New Memecoin
Hunter Biden has launched a new memecoin called $LAPTOP, which aims to compensate people who lost money on the $TRUMP cryptocurrency.
The son of former President Joe Biden announced the launch in a social media post, stating that nearly one million wallets have collectively lost ~$3.8 billion with the $TRUMP coin, which has seen its value drop from over $45 to just over $2.
Biden said that 20% of the $LAPTOP tokens will be distributed to $TRUMP investors, while another 30% is tied to a series of outcomes, including a Democrat winning the 2028 presidential election and Bitcoin hitting a new all-time high.
Biden warned people not to expect the token to make them rich, saying 'You should not expect me or anyone else to make this token more valuable for you.'
