LAPTOP Crashes as Hunter Biden's Memecoin Enters Market

Hunter Biden's foray into memecoins has taken an unexpected turn. His token, LAPTOP, launched on Wednesday and promptly fell by 95.7% in its first hour of trading.

The token was issued on the Base layer-2 network and traded at $4.36 after opening at $199.50. It recorded over $3 million in trading volume.

Biden acknowledged public backlash in an X post, saying 'The symbol they used to try to end me is now a symbol of resilience, redemption and recovery.'

He also warned buyers not to expect the token's value to increase, calling President Donald Trump's token a 'grift'.
