LAPTOP Meme Coin Implodes in 90 Minutes
Hunter Biden's new meme coin, LAPTOP, had a disastrous launch on September 9. The token, inspired by his abandoned laptop at a Delaware repair shop in 2019, crashed a staggering 98% within just 90 minutes of its debut.
The price of LAPTOP plummeted from $199 to $2.54, wiping out nearly all its value. At current prices, it still has a substantial market cap of over $1.24 billion and a fully diluted valuation of around $3.56 billion.
Exchanges that listed the coin have seen significant trading volume, with $13.45 million in trades since launch. However, the order book is currently thin, causing small sales to drastically impact the price.
