Hunter Biden is launching his own meme coin, $LAPTOP, on Wednesday. The token is inspired by the controversy surrounding his laptop in 2020, which contained messages about his overseas business dealings and photos of him doing drugs.

Biden teased the launch with a video on X (formerly Twitter) on Monday, showing his laptop being mentioned in media outlets.

Meme coins have no intrinsic value and often lose their price quickly after launching. $LAPTOP's creators, including Biden, will hold 30% of the 1 billion tokens issued, but will not be able to sell them for six months and will fully vest in two years.
