$LAPTOP Memecoin Seeks Revenge on Trump Holders
Hunter Biden, son of former US President Joe Biden, is launching a memecoin called $LAPTOP. The token's launch comes as a response to the infamous laptop scandal from before the 2020 election, where Hunter's computer was subject to intense media scrutiny.
The memecoin will send 20% of its one-billion token supply to subscribers of substack and investors in Official Trump (TRUMP), which has seen a significant drop in value since reaching an all-time high price in January 2025. The $LAPTOP founders will hold 30% of the token supply and may burn up to 30% depending on certain events, such as a Democrat winning the presidency in 2028 or Bitcoin reaching an all-time high.
Hunter Biden has been vocal about his criticism of the Trump family's involvement with crypto and blockchain through their World Liberty Financial business. He called it 'corruption at a scale we've never seen' and compared its practices to those of FTX, citing ties to foreign governments like the UAE.
