LayerZero and Dango Shutdowns: Key Chains and Platforms Cut Support
LayerZero is cutting support for five low-activity chains by dropping off-chain services. The affected chains are Botanix, Canto, Moonriver, Moonbeam, and Nexera. LayerZero's DVN and Executor services will no longer work on these networks after the support ends in thirty days.
Users holding Hydra assets on these chains need to redeem or bridge them out soon. LayerZero recommends moving funds to more liquid chains like Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, or BSC to avoid potential losses.
Meanwhile, DeFi trading platform Dango is shutting down due to a lack of commercial success. The team confirmed that user funds are safe and withdrawal limits will lift on July 29. By August 13, the Dango L1 blockchain will stop running entirely, and any remaining deposits will be refunded to their original Ethereum deposit addresses.
Dango users are advised to close positions and withdraw funds as soon as possible due to expected thin liquidity and potential slippage.
