LayerZero, KAITO, and SOON Token Unlocks to Watch in Third Week of August

Three significant token unlocks are set to take place in the third week of August 2026, with a combined value of over $556.7 million. LayerZero (ZRO), KAITO (KAITO), and Soon (SOON) will release new tokens on August 20 and 23.

The largest unlock is for LayerZero, which will see the release of 25.71 million ZRO, representing 4.4% of its released supply. This is worth approximately $19.39 million. Of this amount, 13.42 million ZRO will be awarded to strategic partners, 10.63 million will go to core contributors, and 1.67 million will be for tokens repurchased by the team.

KAITO will also unlock 32.6 million tokens on August 20, worth around $11.48 million. This represents 7.63% of its released supply. The foundation will receive 1.19 million KAITO, early backers will gain 2.31 million, and core contributors will get 6.94 million.

The third unlock is for SOON on August 23, which will release 20.24 million tokens worth around $3.85 million. This accounts for 3.76% of its released supply. The network will direct 6.67 million tokens to the SOON Squad and award 4.17 million coins to the ecosystem.
