Lazarus Group Moves $30 Million Through Hyperliquid
The Lazarus Group, a North Korean hacker collective, has been linked to a significant transfer of funds through the platform Hyperliquid. According to monitoring by analyst Emmett Gallic, addresses associated with the group recently moved over $30 million through the platform.
The funds initially entered Hyperliquid as Bitcoin (BTC), before being exchanged for Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL). They were then bridged to Tron, Solana, and Ethereum, ultimately ending up on exchanges and unmarked Tron services.
Approximately $30 million of the transferred funds can be traced back to addresses previously identified as belonging to the Lazarus Group. An additional $5 million in trading volume originated from other addresses linked to the group.
