Lazarus Group Moves Millions on Hyperliquid Amid US Regulatory Push
A group of wallets linked to North Korea's Lazarus Group has moved over $30 million worth of Bitcoin on Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual contract trading platform. The funds were then transferred to centralized exchanges Kraken, LBank, and KuCoin.
Hypeline said it maintains industry-leading compliance plans and continuously monitors blockchain activity to identify and block sanctioned wallets' assets.
LBank and KuCoin acknowledged the risk but emphasized that publicly visible data may not reflect platform-level compliance measures.
