Ledger Bolsters Security Leadership Amid Shifting Threat Environment

Ledger has strengthened its security leadership by appointing Oded Blatman as its new chief information officer and chief security officer. Blatman, a former CIO and CISO at Fireblocks, will oversee cyber and infrastructure security, product security, the Ledger Donjon, physical security, security operations, enterprise risk management, and internal IT. His appointment comes ahead of Ledger OP3N on October 15, where the company plans to make major announcements.

The threat environment is shifting as attackers use AI-generated phishing, deepfakes, and autonomous systems to increase the speed and scale of attacks. Blatman's arrival will help protect high-value digital assets with hardware-backed security alongside software protections and resilient operations.
